REFUND, CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
Effective Date: September 2, 2026
Reanimated Canvas, LLC (“Reanimated Canvas,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) understands that project circumstances can change. This policy explains our general rules regarding deposits, cancellations, refunds, artwork, rescheduling, and project changes.
This policy applies unless a written project-specific agreement, quote, or contract states different terms.
1. Quotes and Project Approval
A project is not considered scheduled until the customer has accepted the applicable quote or agreement and paid any required deposit.
Quotes are based on information available to us at the time they are prepared and may be revised if project conditions, dimensions, artwork, accessibility, surface conditions, or other material details change.
2. Deposits
A deposit is generally required before work is scheduled.
Our typical deposit is 25% of the printing cost, unless otherwise stated in writing.
The deposit does not include artwork or design fees unless specifically stated in the applicable quote.
Because deposits may reserve production time, equipment, personnel, travel, materials, and project scheduling, deposits may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law after Reanimated Canvas has incurred costs or committed resources to the project.
3. Customer Cancellation Before Production
A customer may request cancellation before production begins.
Any refund will be determined based on costs already incurred or committed, which may include artwork, design, travel, materials, scheduling, administrative work, equipment preparation, and other project-specific expenses.
Any eligible refund will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
4. Cancellation After Artwork Approval
Once artwork has been approved and production has begun, cancellation may result in additional charges for design, artwork preparation, materials, ink, production time, travel, equipment preparation, or other costs already incurred.
Completed artwork or production work is generally non-refundable once the customer has approved the work and authorized production, except where otherwise required by law or specifically agreed in writing.
5. Customer-Requested Changes
Changes requested after artwork approval may result in additional charges.
Examples include:
Changing artwork
Changing dimensions
Changing colors
Changing the print location
Adding square footage
Changing the surface
Adding or removing design elements
Requesting a different installation date
Additional charges must be approved before substantial additional work is performed.
6. Rescheduling by the Customer
Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible when requesting a reschedule.
Rescheduling may be subject to availability.
Additional charges may apply when a reschedule requires additional travel, setup, labor, equipment preparation, lodging, or other expenses.
7. Weather-Related Rescheduling
Outdoor projects may need to be postponed because of rain, wind, extreme temperatures, excessive humidity, dust, or other conditions that could affect safety or print quality.
Weather-related rescheduling does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
Reanimated Canvas will work with the customer to identify a reasonable alternative date.
8. Surface Conditions
A project may be postponed, modified, or canceled if the surface is found to be unsuitable for printing.
Examples include excessive moisture, loose material, unstable coatings, severe damage, contamination, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances that were not apparent or disclosed when the project was quoted.
Additional preparation may be offered at an additional cost where practical.
9. Refunds for Production Errors
If Reanimated Canvas determines that a completed print contains a material production error caused by us, we will evaluate the issue and determine an appropriate remedy.
Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may include correction, reprinting, or another mutually agreeable solution.
A refund is not automatically required when a reasonable correction can be made.
10. Customer-Approved Artwork
Reanimated Canvas is not responsible for errors that were present in customer-provided artwork or that result from artwork approved by the customer.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Spelling errors
Incorrect logos
Incorrect photographs
Incorrect colors
Incorrect dimensions
Incorrect placement
Low-resolution artwork
Customer-requested design changes after approval
11. Design Fees
Artwork and design fees may be charged separately from printing.
Design fees may be non-refundable once design work has begun because design time and creative services are performed specifically for the customer.
12. Failed or Missed Appointments
If the customer or authorized site representative is unavailable when Reanimated Canvas arrives for an agreed appointment, additional charges may apply for waiting time, return travel, rescheduling, labor, equipment preparation, or related costs.
13. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on the customer’s financial institution or payment processor.
14. No Automatic Refund for Completed Work
Because direct-to-surface printing is a customized service, completed work generally cannot be returned in the same manner as ordinary retail merchandise.
Customers should carefully review project details and approve artwork before production begins.
15. Questions and Disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Reanimated Canvas promptly if there is a concern regarding a project, invoice, print, or service.
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve legitimate concerns in good faith.
16. Changes to This Policy
Reanimated Canvas may update this policy periodically. The current version will be posted on our website.
